It is not too far-fetched to say that Europe is living through the years of crises. The devastation of COVID, the subsequent economic crisis and the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war has placed Europe under substantial political pressure. The successful and failed attempts to handle the pandemic, economic hardships, rising inflation and energy prices and the Russian military threat are posing a challenge to governments across Europe.

What can we expect in the following months? Can European countries handle the crisis successfully? How have the crises affected public opinion? What is right and what is wrong about the current mainstream interpretations of the war in Europe, what can the consequences be? Will the role of the EU and demand for integration increase, or will the crises only divide the Union?
