Budapest Forum - 21-22 September 2022 - Summaries of Panels


Following last year's inaugural event, leading experts, activists, decision-makers and journalists returned to Budapest, Hungary, on 21-22 September 2022 to discuss the most pressing issues currently facing citizens of democratic and nominally democratic countries. The two-day Budapest Forum, organized by the Municipality of Budapest, Political Capital and the CEU Democracy Institute, explored and examined policy proposals under the banner of ‘Building Sustainable Democracies’.

Our partners were: Heinrich Böll Stiftung, ERSTE Stiftung, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Vienna, Green European Foundation, German Marshall Fund/German Marshall Fund of the United States, The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Open Society Foundations.
