In recent years, anti-gender and anti-LGBTQI mobilisation has intensified in Hungary and Poland, with governing parties and a network of organisations, media outlets, and influencers affiliated with them spreading such messages. The conference will centre around the state and consequences of the mobilisation, its most prevalent narratives, and how we can counter it.
At the event, we will briefly present Political Capital’s new research, conducted with our Polish partner, the Projekt: Polska Foundation, and discuss the above questions with our guests from civil society and parties in Hungary and Poland.
