China, Taiwan and the West

2021-03-03

A discussion organized by the Institute for National Policy Research (Taiwan) and Political Capital (Hungary)

The emergence of the People’s Republic of China as a global player have brought new realities for not just the future of the Republic of China (Taiwan) but it has also posed a challenge of rivalry for the Transatlantic community. With the proposed event, we are aiming for providing our audience with a valuable insight into the geopolitical context and environment of Taiwan’s international relations as well as the relations of the two countries with the Central and Eastern European region, the European Union and the new US administration.
